My son used it for his gaming mic. Only complaint is that the S&H was almost as much as the item I ordered.

I guessed at the sizes, but this adapter worked fine. I was trying to mount a Samson Go-Mic on a standard chrome 5/8″ pillar, and the threads matched perfectly. I was able to accomplish the task with one minor problem: the 3/8″ threads on the adapter end about 1/8″-3/16″ before the top of the 5/8″ section, meaning that the thin plate of the Go-Mic threads on, but is loose and floppy when it reaches the bottom of the 3/8″ pillar. The user will need to find or make a 1/8″-3/16″ washer to thread onto (or slide onto) the pillar for the Go-Mic to seize onto to prevent it flopping around loose. Not a dealbreaker.
